The day after Easter

Laura and I went over to Thomas' for dinner on Monday. Thomas loved his chocolate alligator.
Laura got another Easter basket full of stuff.

Thomas said he was going to be an artist.

Laura was dazed especially after Thomas made up a song about poo.

That's right. Thomas is singing about stepping in poo.

Easter Sunday

Laura woke up at 10:45am. It's good because we did a lot today.
First we colored and decorated some eggs.

And ate some!

Then Laura opened her Easter basket given by my friend, Uncle Wonton.

Then we went to see Horton Hears a Who.

Then after a late lunch, we went to the playground.

Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday morning in Roslindale, we went to the annual Easter Egg hunt with Thomas and his cousin Leah.
Thomas shook hands with the Easter bunny.

Laura didn't like the Easter bunny and wouldn't make eye contact.

The egg hunt started promptly at 10am and it was over in mere minutes. They only got a handful of plastic eggs filled with candy.

Then we stopped off at a local place for some breakfast.

Then a quick trip to Costco.
Laura and I ran some more errands the rest of the day but my upper back was acting up so we didn't do anything fun. Ugh. Old age is really terrible.

I did buy a new toy for myself: a Nikon D40!

Laura dressed herself the other day. Pretty well coordinated, I must say.

Laura was invited to Thomas' 4th birthday party. She was so excited. She also got a great goody bag full of candy.

Boring weekend

Very uneventful weekend. We were so bored on Saturday that we invited Thomas over for a couple of hours. His mom brought along some fun stuff for them to do.

They played dress up for a little bit.

Thomas wanted to dressed up like Ariel while he watched "The Little Mermaid".

Sunday was pretty much the same. Laura dressed up as cool Snow White.

Then we went shopping to look for dresses for Ymo's wedding.

Thomas is back

Thomas is back from Australia. He got dropped off for about an hour with Laura on Thursday for a dinner date. They played well together. Then she went over to his house for a couple of hours so mommy could play tennis.

Dinner was grilled cheese, ham and broccoli with "spicy" cheese.

Laura is so bossy

They had fun together and apparently didn't even fight after spending all that time together.

Stella's

We went to Stella's in the South End for a fairwell dinner on Tuesday night for one of Laura's Daddy's colleagues. We didn't realize that it was a bit upscale. If we had known, Laura would have gone to Thomas' for the night. Anyway, we stayed and Laura was a really good girl sitting in her chair for 2 hours for the entire meal. This is Laura after 2 sips of my Mojito!
She only ate olives and french fries for dinner.

She entertained herself by reading her new books and using my camera to take random pictures. Some of her pictures were actually pretty good.

Here's my entree. Looks good but it was just ok. I got Laura pasta with sauce and she didn't touch it.

We finally got home well after 10pm and her daddy put her to bed in her clothes.

While he was putting her to bed, he said "I love you, Laura".

She said "I love you, daddy. Turn off the light and shut the door."
