Hot Cocoa

Cookies

This morning, I asked Laura what we should do today. She said "I want to make some cookies".

I think this is the reason why.

Christmas

We were invited to a feast at our neighbors house from the old neighborhood.
Merry Christmas
I guess I shouldn't count on any music scholarships in her future.

Another snowy day and a Christmas party!

It snowed all day. Again.

Tommy came over

We picked up "Tommy" from school today because his poor father was getting some dental work.

They watched Rudolf the Rednose Reindeer for about 5 minutes.
Then came into the play room to cut paper because that is so much more fun.
I got them to eat spinach by using strawberry yogurt as dressing. Yummy. Well, Laura ate all of her spinach and Thomas ate about 4 leaves.
They had a good time together.

Charlie Brown Christmas Tree

Ever since I put up Laura's tree, she has been pestering me about how there is no star at the top of the tree. I still haven't even attempted to bring any Christmas decorations down from the attic (ok, it's probably not going to happen this year, bah humbug). I decided that we would have to MAKE a star instead. The star was made of construction paper and adorned with sparkle paint, Dora and Hello Kitty stickers!
Now our holiday is complete!

Winter Wonderland

We got about a foot of snow. I bundled up Laura and went outside for some fun in the snow.
Get ready for a snowball fight. Laura lost. I threw one in her face and she had a meltdown. Poor little girl. Sorry Laura.

Hectic Sunday

After the morning, I took Laura to the gym so that I could play tennis. Then we went to Sarah's birthday party (schoolmate). It was a girls party and Laura immediately joined in since she knew all the girls from her school. She had a great time.
Then a quick trip to Trader Joes at her request and finally we stopped at the house on Jamaicaway with the crazy lights. Laura loved it.

I asked them if I could do this too and they said "no".
