Laura and her dad spent 5 days in Florida so that mommy could get some of her sanity back. She quickly rekindled her friendship with Janise. She got this Snow White costume as a present with pumps and wore it every day.
Look at these ladies after partying all night long.
Laura was cranky when I woke her up this morning. I think she's sleep deprived. This was her in the morning. This is Laura after I picked her up from school. Very moody, crying over the smallest things. Poor little girl.
We went to the gym so I could play tennis from 1 to 2pm then shot straight to Theo's 4th year party which was just down the street from the gym. A lot of Laura's classmates were there but not her "best friend" Thomas. Then off to Thomas' house for his mom's 40th birthday party. Laura got a present from Leah. "Piggie"
They're pretending to eat fake food while Laura's talking on a fake phone.
It took a while because Laura couldn't focus and help me get the job done. She played mostly and then wiped herself out. Then we did nothing for the rest of the day besides hang out, eat and watch tv.
New Year's Eve was spent at Leila's house for dinner and we came home before midnight. New Year's day was overcast. It snowed in the morning with these big fat wet flakes, then it all turned to rain but we had some fun in the snow anyway.
I should feed this girl. Her poor little snow man.
The rest of the time was spent playing indoors. She especially loves her Polly Pockets. (a little toooo much, you'll see) She even drew our family. Starting from left: mom, dad, baby Laura and Laura. Apparently we have 2 bellybuttons.
During dinner Laura was talking nonstop as usual. "Blah, blah, blah, something in my nose, I need a tissue." This is what came out. A Polly Pocket shoe! OY! I have no idea why kids like sticking stuff in their nostrils!
What a way to start the new year. At least it wasn't spent in the ER trying to get toys out of her nose!
