The first 2 days were gorgeous with the temp at 75degrees then cold and rainy the rest of the week.

Day 2: Visit with Jackson. See how she regresses.

Day 3: Visit with Zoe and Aaron. This time, Zoe took some interest in Laura and showed her the ropes. She had a great time.

Days 4,5,6 are missing b/c I left my camera at Zoe's house.

I took Laura to the 'Please Touch Museum' in Philadelphia on Day 4 and she seemed to enjoy it (it took her about an hour to get warmed up to it). Here are pics from my camera phone.

I got my camera back on Friday but I essentially lost interest in taking photos at that point so here is the final photo of Laura trying to recuperate from her trip.

The chicken coop. Laura is deathly afraid of animals and wouldn't go too close. Here she is clucking at the chickens and keeping her distance.

We finally made it to the new gorilla exhibit which was recently renovated and it was spectacular. No bad animal smell. The glass enclosure lets you get right next to the Gorillas. Laura was terrified and I had to hold her for the rest of the visit. That's Kiki and her baby.

Saturday March 24th. Date with Thomas

Ok, this photo was from Friday but it's cute. She had this cupcake after her swimming class and she felt the need to sing happy birthday to herself.
Saturday was a bit chilly but the playground was packed. Laura met up with Thomas but it was a short visit.

So, this is what happened when I told her it was too cold and we had to go home. She didn't want to leave her Thomas.

Luckily, Thomas showed up to our house an hour later. Laura was appeased and their date began. They first enjoyed their appetizers.

Then a movie "The Little Mermaid" at Thomas' suggestion.

Then a romantic dinner for 2. See how they are so enamored and can't even keep their eyes off of each other.

Reactive Airway Disease: AGAIN

When I walked into Laura's daycare, all the kids had pools of snot on their upper lips. Ugh. Laura has had a cold for the last couple of days and started coughing last night. Today, when I picked her up from daycare, she was coughing, coughing, coughing. Hubby listened to her chest and she was wheezing (a little) so we decided to start the neb treatments again. She's been so good all winter with no problems. Ugh.

Laura is so great at shoveling, we're going to have her go around the neighborhood next year and make us some money.

Another trip to the zoo

We finally had a little taste of spring today so we were off to the Franklin zoo with Thomas. It was very muddy. At one point, Laura got her whole bottom soaking wet after going down the kids' slide and landing in the water at the bottom of the slide. Poor girl. I managed to dry her off pretty well in the bathroom. The tots both had a good time with Laura chasing after Thomas for the majority of the trip.

At one point she said to Thomas "hold my hand" and he ran away. Poor girl.

We ended the day with a late lunch at Village Sushi in Roslindale.
