Columbus Day

We made our yearly pilgrimage to Lookout Farm for some apple picking. When we arrived, the place was packed and a young woman was letting everyone know that there was slim pickings due to heavy rains in September. We decided to forgo the tradition and instead just picked up some already picked apples, Asian pears and a pumpkin.

We then went to Larz Anderson park and had lunch at the picnic tables. It was nippy out.
We let the kids play at the playground.
Then we took a stroll of the area. The trees were beautiful.

The kids spent most of the time rolling down the hills.

And chasing these poor geese.

When we got home, Laura and I carved the pumpkin that I bought. Laura wanted hearts, stars and butterflies.

I can't believe a whole year has gone by since you posted the Lookout Farm pictures. It seems like it was seriously just a few months ago. They are cuter than ever. My favorite picture is the one of them behind the trees in a row!!! I love that picture!!

Ok. I have to confess, remember when we went to Hawaii and I posed everybody for those crazy pictures? The tree picture was just like that. I was screaming at them and placing them behind each tree b/c I thought it would be a cute picture. I took like 5 shots and I wanted them to just peek their heads out. Let's just say that these kids did not take instruction well. Especially Laura. Dimitri was the only one who listened. I pretty much gave up after that.
