It's definitely fall. Laura helped me make some cookies tonight.

Why hello Martha Stewart-Cho! Who knew you had so many skills. You're really trying hard to impress your best friend, oh, I mean daughter, aren't you! I think she'd love you anyway... cuz you have great taste in pajamas.
I so want to be Martha Stewart but am wholly inferior. HOw is Baltimore? I also can't believe you have neglected your negative blog. Have you turned over a new leaf? Have you *gasp* turned into an optimist?
Are you still using the pumpkin cookie recipe from Kate's mom? I asked her if there was any way to modify it so there isn't any Crisco. She said she was looking into it, too.
Baltimore is good. Really. I live close to the hospital. In the ghetto. There are rats in the alley behind my house. They are really loud, but I have a vicious guard dog who scares them away. Ok, he's not vicious and probably scared of them but he's so cute! My negative log has lapsed if only for the reason that I have very little human contact right now other than the occasional faculty member, my students, and strangers that I meet at the park. It's hard to be negative in those circumstance. I have certainly not become an optimist but still striving and hoping!!
You made cookies with Crisco?! Martha Stewart would never...

Yes. Crisco is yummy. It also does well as a moisturizer and gives you shiny greasy skin!
