Saturday, April 26th

I finally redeemed this gift certificate for the Langham hotel chocolate buffet.
It was insane. I gained 5lbs just walking into this place.

This cotton candy was YUM!

Within 20 minutes, Laura was bouncing off the walls.

She couldn't sit still for 2 minutes.

We then went to the MFA and met a friend there. There was an exhibit called "art in bloom"where certain pieces of art were selected for fresh floral arrangements . It was really beautiful. Laura was still high on sugar.

Visit

So one of my best friends came for a short visit. Because I am such a wonderful hostess, I let her wash a lot of dishes and do some yard work.

I told Laura that we were going to a fancy restaurant so she decided that she needed to put some makeup on.
I think I need to investigate the hospital that I gave birth at because they definitely must have switched babies on me.
We went to the Harvard club for dinner with my friend's cousin.

We took a little tour around the place and Laura was all spooked by the dark rooms so we had to wait downstairs.

Some gardening

Dirt + 3 year old= long hours of activity.
Laura helped me plant my potted vegetable garden today. A couple of tomato plants, peppers, strawberries and herbs.

Then she went up to her room for 1/2hr and had a complete wardrobe change. She's such a girly girl.

We ended the day with Laura meeting up with Thomas at the playground.

Nayan's birthday party

One of hubby's colleagues invited us to her son's 2nd birthday party at the Boston Children's Museum.
There were some arts and crafts

Face painting. Laura chose an ice cream cone (as did most of the other kids).

Matteo was the life of the party.

Nobody was getting near Laura's goody bag.

After the party, we spent another hour exploring the museum. Laura had a blast and didn't want to leave.

She loved this "green" screen where she watched herself dancing with Arthur on tv. We spent at least half an hour here.
