Thanksgiving weekend

We took Southwest and they don't play. They get you to your destination on time or before. I've taken it many times but not on the busiest weekend of the year and boy, I was impressed.
We left on Thanksgiving day at the crack of dawn. We made it to Hah dah buh gee's place. Here's Laura playing a tune.
Here's Ymo getting the turkey ready while the "chef" does all the cooking.
Laura kept herself busy while we were all cooking. I mean, while the "chef" was doing all the cooking.
We tried to put her down for a nap but she was too excited about eating turkey. During dinner, I made Laura sing her Turkey song that she learned from school. It's the same melody of Frere Jacques (or Brother John).
It goes like this:
Turkey dinner, turkey dinner
Gather round, gather round
Who will get the drumstick, yummy, yummy, yummy
Let's sit down, Let's sit down.
How cute it that?
After dinner, we checked into our hotel.

The weather was in the 60's on Thanksgiving day but then turned chilly for the rest of the weekend.
We visited mom's grave.
Then we went to my dad (and mom's) favorite Korean restaurant for a late lunch.
We had a good time. My reunion was fun. It was good seeing my family and spending some time together.

QT w/ the famfam is the best! You missed it. We ate a huge lunch catered from the wedding the day before at church and then a few hours later ate tons of kalbi at another Korean restaurant. I am not eating for the rest of the week.

I was hoping that dad would have brought a plate of leftovers from the wedding but to my disappointment, he came home empty handed.
I miss Korean food. Yummmmy.
